[edit] History
The highest religious official on Lusitania, the Bishop was very set in his ways, although he was quite young. He had no gift for speaking, and he had no tact when addressing touchy issues (such as his conversation with Libo about the death of Pipo, when the bishop said that quite probably, the piggies were just animals anyway). The bishop was very adamantly against the Speaker for the Dead, calling him a messenger of Satan, and told the entire colony to help as little as possible with the Speakers work. When Starways Congress was scanning the colony’s computer files, and deleting them, the bishop was appalled that the others were so willing to trust the infidel, but relented since it was the only hope he had of preserving his files as well. In the end, the bishop also agreed to the rebellion since he use the opportunity to convert the piggies to Catholicism, before any others had a chance to corrupt them… little did he know that they were already firm believers of the Speaker for the Dead.
