Together with her husband Gusto, a fellow xenobiologist, Cida discovered a temporary cure for the Descolada on Lusitania. The couple was sainted rather quickly after their deaths for miracles credited to them in their own town of Milagre. Sainted as a pair, they were known as 'Os Venerados'.
