The Formic War is over, won by Ender Wiggin and his team of precociously brilliant child-warriors. The enemy is destroyed, the human race is saved. Ender himself is kept away by his brother Peter, under Peters pseudo name, Locke, but his crew has gone home to their families, scattered across the globe. The Battle School is no more.

But with the external threat gone, the Earth has become a battlefield once more. Nations wish to reassert their sovereignty. The children of Battle School are more than heroes; they are potential weapons that can bring power to the countries that control them.

One by one, all of Ender's Jeesh are kidnapped. Only Bean escapes, and he turns for help to Ender's brother, Peter, who has already been manipulating the politics of Earth from behind the scenes. With Bean's help, he will eventually take on the role of the Hegemon.

Story DetailsEdit

Warning: Plot or ending details follow The Shadow saga goes into much more detail with the character Bean , he goes into hiding with a nun named Sister Carlotta who is like a mother to him when a Battle School expulsee tries to assassinate him . Bean knows the mysterious figure from his past . Achilles has been manipulating his way through Russia's intelligence service and has obtained a postition where he can get whatever he wants . Bean collaborates with Locke ( Peter Wiggin) to get Achilles kicked out of Russia he is promptly taken in by the Indian government to cause trouble. In India he has a position of power. He makes long time rivalrys dissapate and long friendships are torn apart by the mad man known as Achilles . Bean eventually makes it to Thailand where he is greeted by another Battle School grad Suriawong(Surly ) . After much betrayal Bean is able to stop Achilles from causing another world war but he gets away which leaves a great plot to be continued.
