Page protection?Edit

I'm beginning to think that the Main Page is being vandalized with the "Hey guys, nice site!" type of nonsense far too much. I am discouraged every time I come here to find that the Main Page has, sometime in the recent past, been edited in a non-constructive manner by an anonymous IP. That has only happened once. And that was the only edit since last August. There are no active admins, so if the page was locked, it would never be improved. Keeping it open will benefit the wiki a lot more than locking it as the result of one bit of vandalism. Angela ^talk 23:25, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Why is there the Otherworldly Poll there? Obviously fans coming to this wiki would vote for Ender's Game. Why not ask which of the books in this series is your favorite? Dream Focus 16:13, December 16, 2011 (UTC)
