Vlad

Vlad was a member of Battle School and Ender's Jeesh. He was the leader of the "B" toon in Ender Wiggin's Dragon Army.

Vlad was born in Belarus under the Second Warsaw Pact. His real name, mentioned in Shadow of the Giant, is Vladimir Denisovitch Porotchkot. In Battle School he eventually became leader of the B toon of Dragon Army. After Vlad graduated from Battle School, he was sent to Tactical School and subsequently to Command School, where he and the rest of Ender's Jeesh fought the last battle. After he returned to earth, Vlad is captured by Achilles along with the rest of Ender's Jeesh. But then after action taken by Peter Wiggin as Locke, everyone but Petra Arkanian is released. During their Russian captivity, Vlad develops a stronger relationships with Petra. Eventually he joined the Russian government and draws hypothetical plans for war, but he grows tired of been used by the Russian government. Eventually, he is ordered to plan an invasion of China. Afterward, Vlad escapes with the help of Peter and the Free People of Earth (FPE) and he reveals the plans to attack China. The Russians proceed to carry out the attack, but fails to because China was aware of the attack beforehand. Eventually, Vlad leaves earth to become a colonist on another planet.

Vlad had a wipe-out during his time at Command School, and unlike Petra and Fly Molo, never recovered so he was evidentially not present during the Final Battle.
